i havent updated in forever
i know its true i suck at updating
its not that anything good and important and meaningful hasn't happened since early october (dont let yourselves believe that macsoftware releases are the only important things in my life :-p) its just that i'm busy..... and once its been a while since i've updated i dont even know where to begin
so i wont begin.. i'll just skip all that stuff and hopefully you'll pick it up on the way... or you have been calling me along the way (read: my parents) so you know whats going on anyway.
i finished a rough draft of a paper due today (just the rough draft was due) and i turned it in. Then i watched exactly one hour of television and started on the next paper i have due tomorrow. steve and i worked on it at his place while we ate ice cream and cookies and drank holiday nog. he wore his wonderfully extravagent cashmere hat (it really is the rolls royce of hats as he claims) and we analyzed some data from an eye movement lab. we also read excerptsfrom catch-22 as it is the favorite book of both of us and was what we read the day in the lab we were using the electrodes we built to to track my eye movements. (this was of course the lab data we were analyzing and so catch-22 was completely relavent to the project)
i ran over to steve;s tonight even though the corderoys i'm wearing now dont really fit me very well and tend to come close to falling off especialyl when i'm running (i had to keep pulling them up) but i ran becuase last night i didnt' sleep much which i have decided is at least partially due to the fact that i did nothign even remotely atheltic. it was really really snowy and i had a ton of work to do. so that means no run. no gym. and most sad of all no frisbee practice. no more frisbee practice till january. i hope i dont forget how to play by then. i ran to steve's tonight and then afterwards i ran home. that was just now. i took a picture on my way home so that you can see the winterwonderland that has become my neighborhood.
and with that i'm going to go try and make some progress on return of the king. there are so many books i want to read. and with modern medicine it is all possible!
if only i had the time.
i'm off to have fish dreams... what kind of fish you wonder? i have no idea becuase i cant tell one fish from another.... and which hand am i holding it in? it varys... indeed ... dunbar would point out... it varys with the the type of fish.
