2010 = lots of yummy change

 4th Goertz wedding . . . check

I am glad it is 2010. I am ready.

I also have some awesome resolutions I can't wait to spend more time on! Like "wearing no tshirts unless they are vintage or worn for a statement" and not the "im a schlep" kind of statement lol. I want to eliminate laziness from my life. Don't get me wrong- I could lay in bed my whole life and be perfectly content but there's a difference in being a bum and preferring to lounge fabulously. Anyways, I just realized my HUMONGO tshirt collection (dating back to freshman year of high school) was taking up half of my closet and preventing me from exploring/advancing/maturing my "look". I am an artist in many other ways and I should apply my creative abilities to how i present myself to the world. Plus I gained dozens of hangers for new clothes.

This other resolution sort of ties into the "no tshirts" resolution- I want to learn how to sew. Many people have told me sewing is really simple with a machine so I suppose it's more of a resolution to actually DO IT as oppose to really "learning". I want to make some quilts out of my old tshirts :-), crop and hem some old skirts, create some cushy window seat/floor pillow/dog beds and try out some DIY ruffle stuff that you can add to tops or shoes or whatever to give stuff some style.

The bridal extravaganza is this weekend. I hope this is a life changing event. We need some biznass.

I also can't wait to start cleaning out this house we're in so we have less crap when we move into the new one. I really am a fan of negative space, you know, spatially. That's prob another reason why clearing out my tshirts excited me so much- I can see the wall now.

Anyways- I'm going to go waste more time by browsing on the internet instead of putting in grades for the semester.
