The search for bizarro foods continues...
I *love* going to supermarkets.
Especially the specialty stores that sells all kinds of weird stuff from all corners over the world. Those are the best! I can spend forever wandering up and down the aisles, looking in wide-eyed amazement at all the exotic goodies that you normally wouldn't find at your local sundries.
I spent over 2 hours at NTUC Finest at Bukit Timah today, until I had to be physically dragged out of there by Pops who was running out of patience. We were there actually to hunt down the cheapo wines under $25 that was featured in the Straits Times on Friday, but we got bamboozled yet again (why am i not surprised) and we couldn't locate anything from our list. What a shame!
But I did manage to grab a box of Jiffy Blueberry muffin mix (wowee!!! it contains imitation blueberries!!! i wonder what that tastes like?!) and Jell-O Instant Flan!! Ooh!!! *rubs hands in delight* I do hope the jello wobbles!!
