i guess i need a place to deal but i am still in denial. this isnt happening. it is all a joke. he is going to come back and say surprise, im glad you all love me but i am not dead. this cant be true. it cant be happening. i wont believe it. no.

My darling Abbie. I'm assuming this is about the same situation that I was informed of yesterday and I am so sorry to hear what happened! Late last night one of my residents came and knocked on my door in tears. She explained that a good friend of hers from high school that is now at Pitzer had just passed away. I was in such shock I didn't even know what to say-- I just held her in my arms. She told me wonderful things about this young boy for what seemed like a while until she finally decided to get some sleep. I know that this story probably doesn't make you feel any better but I hope that knowing there is someone in Portland, Oregon who is experiencing the same thing you are right now makes you feel a little bit less alone.
