TWINS!!
I'm really, really tired (3rd 12 hour night in a row, one 8 hour night to go, yay baby!) and my back hurts from a combination of my stethescope and sitting in a weird little chair all night (b/c I've been displaced from my usual spot behind the nurses' station b/c they are stripping, buffing, and rewaxing the floors tonight, the smell is fabulous, kill me pleaz kthanxbai), BUT I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!
jensternal and ceejayoz are expecting TWINS!!!
Ah ha ha!!! I'm SOO EXCITED!! 2009 is BABY YEAR! Except for me, because then it would have to be immaculate and God's already done that once and I really doubt He would do it again to some poor girl...heh.
First, Katie and Sean are expecting their baby in April and now Jen and Chris are expecting TWO babies in August! Due to the tenuous nature of carrying twins, we will not be going to Paris and Switzerland in late June after all, which is sad, but babies are so much happier! Besides, I've already been to Paris and Switzerland isn't going anywhere any time soon.
