i think your missing the point of that post. it's a way to kinda vent a bit, let your hair down and see what other loli's are like when not up and guarded
Using drugs is not necessarily something to be proud of. It's called damaging your brain and potentially becoming an addict. And yes. Every time you use a drug, there is that chance, no matter what you might think or how much control you think you might have. Some people are just weaker than others.
Sorry to stick my nose in, but how does using drugs make you "weaker"?
I'm just curious because I'm assuming that you are referring to "illegal drugs"? If this is so, I think it needs to be noted that many drugs that are now illegal were once legal. Also, I would like to ask... Do you also consider those who use prescription drugs as "weak"? Because, often times, they can be just as addictive as illegal substances and they can have just as damaging an effect as drugs like cocaine etc. (I would also like to note that many illegal drugs in the present day WERE prescription drugs at one point- or just used for medical purposes.)
I'm just a little confused about your statement since the situation itself seems a little more complicated that "drugs are bad".
(And, in case this is an issue, I do not do nor have ever done drugs myself.)
Ahem. Some people's ability to avoid addition is at a lower tolerance than others. However, I do feel that people who feel the need to use drugs are weaker than those of us who can get more natural highs and are okay with not getting high at all and realizing that happiness is one of those tings that comes and goes but isn't forever.
And yes, I feel the same for a lot of casual medicine as well. I feel people rely on pills more than they should for a quick and easy cure-all. Also, I don't care about the past. And it's not that drugs are bad, although they are. It's that I feel people who use drugs to get high are weaker than people who do not. This is how I feel. You can spout whatever you want at me, but it won't change how I feel.
Thank you for your response. I was just trying to understand how your opinion was formed on that matter-there was no intent to try and change your feelings on the matter.
