Furry walls don't bring me down!
So, if you've been reading, you'll know that I'm on the job hunt, super, super bad. I've been hitting up the obvious retail departments with the major shopping holiday coming up, and it breaks down like this:
Torrid - Applied at one, have to go back Monday to speak to manager regarding application. Applying at second location on Oct.13th at advice of store staff in hopes to land an instore interview.
Forever21 - Applying at two locations. Waiting to hear back.
Bath&Body Works - Applied, was interviewed, and given the stamp of approval to be hired at a store when they have an opening!
Claire's- Applied. Waiting to hear back.
Icing - Applied. Waiting to hear back.
Victoria's Secret - Applied. Waiting to hear back.
Can you believe I did all this yesterday at one mall? God, I was SO tired when I got home! Today I will be glad to rest at home, although I still have a ton more applications for places like Pacsun, and Godiva, Banana Republic, etc. In addition I'm also using jobs.com for clerical work (which I would prefer.)
In addition to financial help, getting a job will be really good for me socially. I've been here stuck all day with little to no actual human contact,(depressing!) and I want to get out. ;__;
In unrelated news, can someone teach me exactly how to use Taobao? They have a tralala bag I am dying to get my hands on.
