So, I'm back from Anime Expo! I'm sorry I have no pictures this year but, you know with this crap of piece of computer, I couldn't transfer them away. I was bummed how I missed basically the first 1½ (2 really) days of the con. But ah well. I over packed extremely, and I didn't get to make most of my meet ups. ):
Next year though, I will be more organized for SURE. Especially with planning my Lolita outfits. Sure, don't I always say that?
However, regardless of my set backs, I did manage to have fun! I got along with my roommates for the most part, and we had some good laughs. I finally got to see all the beautiful Diamond Gals again at their Shibuya Meltdown event and even though I wasn't dressed in the outfit I wanted to wear, I was still so happy to be there. I also found out about a great summer party happening in Little Tokyo on the 23rd! That gives me time to finally get my Yukata.
Speaking of which, I spent waaaay too much money at AX. I usually always have like $100 or so dollars left over, but to be far, a lot of that money was spent on food and Taxis. >A<;
Speaking of which swag wise, I got volumes 3-10, of the
Super GALS! manga, which made me SO happy. I absolutely adore Ran Kotobuki, and she inspires me to be a better, happier, more courageous, more out going person.
I really hope that didn't make me sound totally lame. The manga itself also makes me miss having my own room more than ever. And it makes me miss early 2000s gal fashion. I'm such an old soul. ;__; Why can't there be more anime/manga/dramas about Gyaru. And not Peach Girl, that is depressing.
Happy nostalgic Gal Manga feels aside, I managed to buy some super pretty deco nails, and some cute necklaces! The rest was spent on DVDs, and doujin. Far too much really.
Now that I'm home, the hard part is at hand. All the damn unpacking, and washing of clothes! Luckily I have the day off so I can do that all day tomorrow. In a way though, I'm glad the con is all said and done with, since now what ever income I have left can now fully be devoted to paying off my credit card, purchasing a new computer tower, and general savings. I've only got a month left on my job, if not less, so this means working hard.
Ouch! Hard work!
