An adventure in graphics
So, I'm know many of you sit at home and ponder: "Just what the hell does Abbie do when she's at home and has no access to the internet?"
Well the answer is very simple! I loose my mind play around with graphics! Icons mainly, but this night I attempted a wall paper.
While reading Xiaxue's blog, I came across this wonderful picture here and naturally, I thought this would be even more awesome sitting on my desktop. But as pretty as it is, I couldn't just use that as my desktop image. So I played in Paintshop Pro9 and came up with this:
However, I'm all too please with the rough edges along the top of her head, and overall from her body. I'm not good at making vector images, so if anyone can give me any tips, I'd be so thankful. I'm really trying to get the overall smooth look along her edges.
Also, I'm not too sure how I feel about it over all, if I like the desktop icon box, and it does seem a little plain in both decoration around Xiaxue and I don't reaaally like the text.
Where do you guys get your gyaru graphics like roses, and pearls, and diamonds, and what not?
This is the plain version I made before the text and boxes, if anyone wants to play with it.
