Okay this is the post I promised you last night
michichanlove but all my gyaru friends are welcome to comment on this/give advice, etc.
The following are the clothes I've been collecting, to wear for Gyaru. I'm slowly but surely getting things I think can be worked into the fashion well, but are also flattering to me.
Many of all these things my aunt Shirley bought for me, or I've gotten for super cheap! (I can smell a sale a mile away. >:|) Anyway, I would love for all of you to comment, and give me your opinions on the stuff, possibly coordinates, things I should look to buy next time when I go shopping, etc. Now, onto clothes!
♥ Bottoms ♥
These are without a doubt the best jeans I currently own in my wardorbe. They fit me perfectly, and flatter my bottom figure WONDERFULLY. I ♥ them. My aunt Shirley bought them from Macy's.
Capri pants from Ashley Stewart, super nice, and flattering. Got on a 50% off clearance sale.
White jeans from Old Navy. These are sadly a little tight, do a bit of that muffin top thing. ;3; but I love them anyway. They really give my bottom hip/legs nice shape. My solution is to wear them with a loose fitting/billowy top to take away from their one draw back.
I got them on 50% off clearance too!
Cost: $4.00 (You're so jealous. ;3)
♥ Tops ♥
I love this top, it's just so cute, and POPTEEN-ish.
My only draw back is I washed it a few times so it's slightly faded from it's original glory. ):
It's a bit shorter than my other tops, so I think this would be paired awesomely with a black three tiered ruffle skirt, or maybe used over a longer top and worn with jeans/shorts?
I thought this was really cute, if simple, but had a lot of potential for many different coordinate options! Plus, I like yellow, and puff sleeves. XD
Even though it's currently WAY TOO HOT to wear this, I love this black sweater. It's style is really cute and actually pretty feminine.
PINK! This is a halter style top, with roses painted on it, and black studs. Also, it has cute scrunchy sides!
Second yellow top, with multicolored butterflies. When worn the top part has a little floppy bit and the black you see on the sleeves end to the back as one long black stripe.
The detail didn't photograph very well, but this is such a nice, white top, but it has subtle detailing around the collar that makes top one you can either dress up or down.
This one like the white one is really casual and cute, but it's more of a sweater feel to it. But since it opens I could probably do a lot of coordinates with this too!
Orange top, puff sleeves, wide bottom band, and a cute button detail on the front.
This one is a pretty simple, but still cute gold long sleeve shirt. I think it's a little too plain to wear by itself, but maybe it could be used for layering?
Multicolored pattern tank-top, I like the combination of shades here.
I really like this top, not only for the color but because of it's billowing soft look when I put it on. It's loose fitting but not sloppy you know?
Okay, so that's it, comment away, and give me ideas!
