Mr. Monster and I went to the Anarchist Book Fair in SF today. It's always a good time, and always an opportunity to talk to lots of friendly people. It was a beautiful day in the city today to boot. We saw a talk and slide show given by NYC artist Fly, which I really enjoyed. We also talked to V Vale, of Research Books fame. He's a really nice guy, and I wish we'd had money to buy some of his stuff. I gave him the latest issue of our magazine, I hope he enjoys it.
There were lots of great dogs there too. I love to pet all dogs, they're so much better than many people. I started a project last year called Rest Stop Dogs, where I was just going to take pictures of all the dogs I see, and make a collage or something interesting. I need to finish that.
I'm reading "No Plot, No Problem" right now, which is making me really excited for NaNoWriMo in November. i've never written a novel, but I will this year, along with many other novelists hurling themselves through the month of November towards 50,000 words.
We also ran into my friend Colin, who worked at New College with me the first time around. I also enjoy talking to him.
