have you ever tried to use pineapple in place of meat?
you can use dried or fresh or canned
fresh & canned have to be drained or dried if you want a drier texture.
if youre putting it in something wet, dont bother drying it.
it can be fried, baked, etc & spiced right, tastes a LOT like meat.
makes an amazing pulled NOTPORK OMGWTFBBQ sandwich!

i dont like tofu, tempeh or seitan really.
i dont care for hardly any fake meat products cause the truth is
the ONLY reason i dont eat meat is cause i hate the idea of eating
little thinking, living, loving, caring creatures. i still like the way they
taste & fake meats dont do it for me.

you have to watch for the fake meats with ISOLATES in them cause
its possible theyve used benzine or some shit to get the isolate...
& thats not real good for you.
you can use pineapple for all kinds of meat replacement!
if you dry it right & spice it, it can taste just like salami!
(same with eggplant!)
