News about Jacki’s (username: wintersallen) operation.
Scott gave me the news on Jacki, and asked me to stick it on her LJ. Unfortunately the directions he gave me aren’t working out. So I just decided to contact everyone on her friends list. I’d like to ask someone who is part of the the1wthelist to post this message there.
Hi there, this is Nikkie (from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.) Some of you may remember me from a distant past in the zone, some of you may have never heard of me.
Jacki got out of surgery fine, though it took much longer then expected. Reason why is, because the lump was bigger then they expected it would be. They are however sure that they got it all, and no further surgery will be required unless unexpected complications happened. Jacki is doing well!They purposely kept her medicated so she could continue to sleep, because of the length an size of the operation they figured her body needed the rest. Scott will be staying over at he hospital tonight, so he is there when she wakes up. Her stay in hospital and in hospital will be a bit longer as well. I believe he said 3 weeks in hospital…….sorry I sorta was surprised by the call, as…..I am the only one probably on this entire list located across the world…..I figured I would not be the first choice to be called.
I enquired about Scott himself too, he said he was feeling crappy. He must have been really worried when the operation took that long. He really felt frustrated that he couldn’t talk to her after the operation to put his mind at ease. He sounded calm though. But I could tell he was really tired.
I will give Scott a call myself tomorrow, to see how she woke up. If someone can give me access to the1wthelist, then I can at least post directly there myself. My LJ username is: jstkdn
