Boy, I haven't updated in a while...been way too busy.
As soon as I got home from vacation, which was fantastic, jumped right into school and work. Ya know, sometimes I would love to switch places with my six year old sister. He schoolwork is usually done by noon and then she gets to play in the pool all afternoon. Being an adult stinks sometimes.
Today I got a bad letter...told me that I was no longer eligable for the Pell Grant. Nice. I was warned a few weeks ago that they had upped the riquirements for the grant and that I may not be eligable, so I wasn't too surprised. But it's tough, that dropped my financial aid to $500 a semester. What I was wondering is, if a college student from a single income family of ten that has a sibling in college doesn't qualify, who does? Anybody got any ideas?
Oh, well. Such is life. At least I have money put away for a crisis such as this.
