week in review
So had a busy weekend and start to the week.
Friday was my last day at the old job. Didn't think much of it until I was leaving for the day and saying goodbye to people. Kinda got a little misty-eyed.
Saturday went up to Worthington to stay with Val. We went to a Clippers game and then out to some bar with a bunch of her friends. Had a really good time.
Sunday Val and I just kinda bummed around. We sat by the pool all day and I got completely burnt. Not fun. She was going to head out to Urbana for some party, so I headed to meet up with Beth and go to Applebees. That was fun. Met some of her friends who seemed really cool. We went back to her place to crash.
Monday morning, Beth had to work, so we went to babysit some kids for a couple of hours and then went up to Easton. Got my hair cut at the salon where Beth's friend Becky works. That was much needed. I got about 4ish inches cut off. My head feels so light! Then Beth and I just walked around the mall. That was fun.
I was just incredibly tired all weekend...it was fun and all, but I was a tad bit not myself for some reason.
Tuesday was my first day at my new job. I am going to love it here. (I say here, because I am here now.)
Today, still raining. It has been overcast and rainy since Monday. I'm getting sick of this. It is supposed to get better this afternoon, but I guess we'll just wait and see.
So, aside from the rain, it has been a pretty good last couple of days around here. Got to hang out with Val who I never get to see. Got to spend some time with Beth because I didn't get to spend NEAR enough time with her in Chicago. And I started a new job. My life seems to be looking up. Things are good right now ;)
Now, if only I could get that psycho guy off my back. He is still pestering me, and I don't know how much longer the ignoring method is going to work.
