And now, the long 6 weeks spent relaxing, working, and being bored...also known as winter break...ah yes, it is upon us.
This time of year (winter break) is very up and down. On the one hand you have the holidays, and time spent with family who you don't see much of during the semester. But then what? What comes after the holidays are said and done within the first third of the break? That is the sucky part. The month of January has to be THE single worst month out of the year. There is nothing that makes January special. February isn't much better but it is shorter and you get a change of pace by going back to school. Then of course once you start getting into March the spring comes (my favorite time of the year) and it gets better and better till June when things level off. Then the fall is nice too, and then November and December are the first months of winter, and also the holidays, so there is a nice atmosphere around those months.
That concludes my analysis of the months of the year. Told ya I was bored :) Ok maybe I didn't but you should be able to conclude that.
Today was Chrissy's birthday, so the family went out to dinner and then had cake. Good stuff. I feel about 10 pounds heavier than normal right now.
Tomorrow I need to start the job hunt. I hate job hunting. All you do is fill out bunches of applications, writting the same shit over and over, for places that probably will never call you anyways. Finding work for winter break is really a bitch. I really need to work though. And I want to...if I don't I will go absolutely insane. I need something to occupy my time.
I already miss all the little things about being at school. It's weird, because while there its like you take them for granted, and you know you will be gone soon but still you don't care. Then all of a sudden you get home and miss it. I'm a crazy fuck kids, tee hee :)
