Homeland
So i was thinking i should give this place a lil update since a sem of school is over. If you reading this havent realized, i'm back in singapore for winter!! Well, it was a really last minute decision and an expensive air ticket. BUT still so glad I'm home. Though half of the people are busy with school/work/overseas.. :(
Looking back on the first semester of uni life as an international student, it was no where close to easy. I'm really thankful for the people who came into my life during the semester. Good or bad, bitchy or classy, weird or normal, pathetic or miserable, childish or mature, selfish or generous, kind or evil, nice or nasty. So much so much i can't express. So many experiences in 4 months. One of which is saying goodbye to friends whom you just met, those of the same frequency that is. It was such a weird feeling to be sending someone off from BNE back to SG, knowing that it's gonna be the last time u'll see each other as sch mates, fellow sgrean on a foreign land. And knowing you'll return to BNE the next semester with one less pal :( a good pal or how bout make it two. It's no big deal ikr. I'll still see them back in sg in future not as if they'll be gone forever. But it's when u are on a foreign land... a tinge more familiarity makes a whole world of difference.
Then there was melbourne trip with engsay and shuh!! One of the breaks that kept me sane for the rest of the semester. Pretty beaches pretty houses pretty cafes. Life we adore. hahahaha ^^
Ya so anw exams finished and i decided to come home last minute. And i thought it was best chance for some surprises!!! :p Even my parents were kept in the dark. So funny watching everyone took a second look at me before they scream/shout/exclaim HAHAHAHHA SUCCESSSS!!! tho i wanted to surprise more pple but too tiring. hahahaha. sorry if you weren't given a surprise f2f or via phone call. I can contain the excitement no more.
