Choosing Happiness

May 18, 2007 20:55

I am reading "Choosing Happiness," by Alexandra Stoddard. In the book she suggests an exercise in which you write ten words that define who you are. Alexandra's words are: love, sunlight, gardens, beaches, children, food, family, color, ribbons, and home. She describes these as words that help you to be true to yourself in your life choices, or words that show what you love, cherish, and hold dear.

I am spending some time this evening trying to come up with my own 10 defining words. Here is what I am thinking:

beauty
love
desire
order
peace
Jesus
music
words
romance
relationships

Next, she says to write down 25 words for each one of your ten words. I'll start that on a separate post.
