Birthday

So, unfortunately for me, my birthday fell on a Tuesday, which meant that I had work from 7:15 am and the class till 7:30 pm. On the upside, Teddy made me delicious baked, breaded tofu, sweet potato wedges, salad, and chocolate cake with fresh cream and berries. I also got some really awesome presents. My favorite is definitely my new digital camera! Teddy got everyone to pitch in on a Nikon D3000 (a DSLR). I haven't had much chance to play with it yet since I have been busy with school and planting my garden, but I'm going to try to work with it this weekend.

Some petit fours my grandma got me. She also got me tea, gourmet Swiss, crackers, and some loan forgiveness on a loan she gave me to pay tuition:



My mom gave me money, and let me go pick out a camera bag for my new camera. Barb and Ted gave me tea, chocolate, and new gardening gloves.

Teddy got me a book and Pictionary Man.

On Friday, Keiko and I had a joint birthday party cause our birthdays are 3 days apart (hers is on the 8th).



I gave Keiko tea from Teavana. She gave me some tea from Japan:
