Last week was my spring break, but unfortunately, for me that just meant run around even more.
I worked 6 of the 8 days (Saturday, Mon-Thurs and Saturday) all evenings except for the second Saturday, and so during the days I ran around like a motherfucker.
Sunday, as I posted before, was my bridal shower, hosted by Ricki.
Monday I did banking and post officing.
Tuesday my car broke even more - my gas cap was stripped, but after being told it was OK to drive a little, I continued with my plans for the day. I bought plates, napkins, tablecloths, invitations and things to make centerpieces for my sister's baby shower, which I am hosting in June. I also looked for dresses again, unsuccessfully, and bought some manga. I also reserved the cakes for the wedding.
Wednesday I was supposed to go read to the first graders, but they cancelled school, so I dropped my car off for an oil change, new wiper blades (they got destroyed last month during the ice storm) and a new gas cap. My radio also got ghetto on the way to drop it off, so they ordered new speakers that I have yet to get. I also played DDR.
Thursday I worked a long shift, since it was truck day, so I played DDR then went to work.
Friday was my day off, but since I couldn't go to the class on Wednesday, I had to go Friday afternoon. Then Teddy and I hung out and did stuff.
Saturday I worked and did some homework - I had to make a game to play with my class that was literacy based, and the teacher wanted me to make Bingo, so I used their words of the week and their theme - inventors, and wrote a story that used every word at least once. Then I made randomized Bingo cards (8 patterns) and printed and illustrated my story.
Sunday of course I did a motherfucking shit load of homework cause I did like none over break.
This Wednesday I finished filling in and addressing the ~50 invitations for my sister's shower.
I really want to know if I made it into JET and I want this semester to be over cause it is stressful. :(
