[Cissnei's been around the city, trying to gather up supplies and makeshift weapons... if you can call them that. She's set down her phone at a certain angle in an attempt to possibly record something. When she passes by, she's dressed in a big winter jacket, a beanie, cargo pants and boots. She's head to toe in black, of course.]Something is here ( Read more... )

Stating the obvious, aren't you?

A person's wrong might be another person's right. It would depend on who you're talking to.

It wasn't a question of wrong or right. Just a question.

You'd be surprised by how many people don't see the obvious.

Not as surprised as you might think. Though my point was something more along the lines of, this whole situation isn't right. Waking up in a morgue, an abandoned city, endless night. It really goes without saying. Not that the new developments aren't worthy of note, but still.

Of course. It's unsettling, all of it. The feeling of being watched doesn't really help either.

I can't say I'm particularly fond of it, no. [Especially as he is usually the one doing the watching. Having the tables reversed on him is less than pleasant] But it's all just part of the game, I suppose. And games are meant to be enjoyed.

Assuming there is a game in the first place. [Though she doesn't deny that she thinks there is something else at work here.]

Assuming that, of course. Still, we've clearly been brought here for a reason, and given the recent developments I'm most inclined to believe it's a game. Though it's far too soon to rule out other possibilites, and I do prefer to base my conclusions of facts and logic rather than mere speculation.

Facts and logic are better, but there's little to find of either around here. Still, I'd like to know the reason as to why we're all here and considered dead.

True enough. And yeah, there's certainly that. Though I'm unsure that 'considered dead' is necessarily the right way of looking at it.

Still, as you say, without facts and logic all we're left with are our speculations, right?

It's the best way to put it, for now.

Exactly. Speculations are a way to start, but not a good way to finish. Speculations should be supported by evidence. Then, it's all fact and we don't have any doubts about anything.

If you say so.

And that's a fair enough assessment. Though of course, the problem with starting with an assumption and working from there is it can lead to the collecting of evidence that supports it, meaning you may miss certain vital details in the process. Not that an entirely objective position is possible for most humans of course, but you get my point.

In that case, it would be better to have more than one person and more than one perspective. It would be better to start with a fact, even if it's a small one, and go from there. Beggars can't be choosers sometimes, you know?

You sound as if you're not human yourself.

That's true! It's simply better to keep these things in mind. At least, in my opinion.

Lol, I'm quite human, thank you ☆

Good to know. Does this human have a name, then?
