You are not alone in your difficulties with this technology, my dear. Even if I come from the world this comes from, or at least I assume it comes from the future in my world. We have phones, but nothing this advanced. Not yet.

Is that what it is? A phone. [Foreign word.]

That is indeed what it is.

Though these phones seem to double as a video camera as well, along with having a function for typing. It's amazing really.

Where are you from, my dear, if I might ask?

[Fanboy hat is on now.]

Then you must know of Gandalf? I didn't realize there were more of Middle Earth's people here. This is amazing. [He's trying to control his excitement.]

There are far more of us. Gandalf, Gimli, Legolas of Mirkwood, Haldir, Aragorn, Galadriel, my grandmother, Samwise of the Shire, Eomer and his sister Eowyn of Rohan, and Faramir of Gondor.

This is-- this is phenomenal.

I ah, well not that any of you being here is a good thing, mind you, but I just never thought--

[Mind is blown.]

(ooc: I hope it's okay that he knows of LoTR? Probably should have asked before hand. He won't be a jerk and be all "lol you're a book character" at her though.)

Are there not many of your people here? [Most people she had talked to had more than a few people from their world.]

ooc: it's okay. she's already had that 'holy shit, you're Arwen'. she knows other worlds know of the tale. she just thinks someone wrote the story and it's gone on into the future.

Yes, yes you could say that. It is a comfort, but also worrying at the same time.

(ooc: Awww, Arwen that's adorable, and actually quite a practical idea.)
