[Madsen's taken to an unoccupied area on the rooftops, wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jeans, and boots as she swings something around in what would be thought of as akin to sword kata, but the movements are sloppy, lacking their usual grace.
Probably doesn't help that she keeps reflexively sheathing and unsheathing her weapon, which probably wouldn't be a problem if it was anything but a crowbar. Frustrated, she takes a couple swipes, shifting her grip to one hand before twirling it a bit.]
Shit ... never thought I'd actually miss my blades like this. [She stares at the crowbar for a moment before leaning it against her shoulder.]
Sensei'd have a field day with this. His protege having trouble swinging around a crowbar of all things. Guess it's what I get for trying to stick with one kind of style for too long.
[She turns to face the skyline, shaking her head before picking up her phone. Noting the blinking red light, she raises an eyebrow.]
This, somehow, some way, doesn't surprise me. Might as well use it if it's going to be like this - if anyone knows where I can get a sword around here, let me know.
