So a great deal of people seem to have already visited the tree by the lake, I hope you all realize how foolish that was to do by now. It doesn't hurt to think some things through first.

[This is said so matter of the fact-ly. Why so many go there? A moment later after the sound of the train comes into the background, she continues onAlso, I ( Read more... )

Some people operate better off of impulse.

[LIKE HER but that's beside the point.]

Can't say much for what I know myself, though. I've only been here a few days in comparison to a lot of you, apparently.

I don't know too many people that do.

[Like a certain someone she knows back home]

Apparently there's not much more to know. If that's their goal they're doing a good job at keeping it that way.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

The "not giving us information" bit, I mean. If it isn't one thing, it's another.

Indeed. I very much doubt they're done throw toying with us.

Oh, of course. Like hell whatever brought us all here would just stop at dumping us in an abandoned city with literally nothing to our names.

How long do you suppose they'll actually keep us here?

Who knows. Last time something like this happened I didn't get back for a good few months, and I still don't get how I was able to get back.

[More like there was static in her head trying to figure out how she got back from Promenade, but pretty much the same thing in this case.]

I heard others went through something similar. What sort of place were you at before, if you don't mind me asking?

S'alright. Probably the best way to describe it is like a "dream city", we could dream up anything we wanted to appear so long as it wasn't a way out, were forced to wear masks during the day, and were on forced silence at night outside of some sort of freaky mass-telepathy.

One hell of a picnic, that's for sure.

Strange. That must have been...interesting to say in the least. I take it they were also with holding information from you, that seems to be the new trend.

Hopefully you'll be sent home and not somewhere else, as with all of us.

Basically. Still don't know why we were brought there, but either way, it was a pain.

Yeah, here's to hoping. I've ... got a lot of reflecting to do when I get back now that things have finally calmed down.

I bet. Someone enjoys toying with us.

Trouble back home?

Seems so.

Sort of. Major trouble's been taken care of, it's just the aftermath.

Ah. I see. I'm sorry to hear that.

No worries, the worst of it's over at the very least.

That's something.

[A pause]

...Forgive me, but who am I talking to?
