[He looks down at the helmet in his hand, and mutters under his breath]

[He quirks an eyebrow in annoyance and then nods.]

[He fiddles with the phone for a moment, and then nods, as if he's sorted the situation out. When he speaks again, he can be understood by a non-German speaker.]
I forget most of you don't seem to know the language.
I sense that my name is Erik, and that this helmet, [He taps it with a finger] is important, but why, I don't know.
I was wearing it--I assume for protection.
[He lets out a breath, running a hand through his hair. A headache is coming on, but from frustration, more than anything else.]
I'd appreciate information about myself. Something that might jog the memory.
And I'd like specifics. Generalities will be useless to me.
