So! I actually never thought I'd see a technologically...normal-ish world. Waking up in a body bag aside...
[A pause, she purses her lips and bobs her head to the left for a second, gesturing hidden annoyance.]
Waking up in a body bag stripped naked with all the things I had on my person gone aside....yeah that's it there we go. Anyway, besides all that shit it's not half bad. It's refreshing to not be surrounded by forests, and to have not one party member in sight. Huh. Yeah no this is nice. Hansu was kind of getting up my ass about how it was my turn to prepare breakfast for everyone when we all woke up so hooray, I'm off the hook!
[Sarcasm! But then her voice actually loses the strain of forced composure and is actually, legitimately composed.]
But seriously, this dimension travel, waking up in a "strange and unknown world" shtick is kind of been-there, done-that for me, so I'd actually appreciate a talk with whoever's in charge of this place so they can get the explanations over with. Already helping one hero save a dimension, don't need to play "magic" sidekick to another one.
......unless, this time I get to be the Chosen One. That'd be new. I'd be okay with that.
