[ Well this wasn’t... entirely new. Except this time Sam couldn’t actually remember dying ]
Oh boy.
[ She wasn’t sitting up, not yet, but lifted her head a couple of inches off the table to look around. There were other tables in the room, one of them occupied

[ This time ‘oh boy’ didn’t cover it and she couldn't think of anything else ]
Not that time. And it's not 2007.
[ And how exactly did you cut a year plus down into a short explanation? ]
I went back to Atlantis - led it for a year. [ Before damn Woolsey kicked her off ] It's 2008.

Wow. I'd never thought I'd actually be part of one of the weirdness you guys go through.
[She looks around, her eyebrows knitted together and pulls her thin sheet a little more around herself.]
So I guess we need to find out what the hell is going on, huh?
Reply
I think it's a prerequisite of our job, actual Stargate travel or not.
[ Sam gave a nod ]
That would be good. Clothes too.
[ And usually she didn't have to worry about having to hold up a sheet whilst working out where she was. Sam looked behind her, trying to see if there was anything useful in the room. Other than what she assumed to be standard medical equipment for a morgue? Nothing. As she pushed herself from the bed, hand pressed on it for leverage that was when she felt something. Turning to look Sam frowned at it, turning it over as she picked it up ]
Carolyn? I've got a phone.
Reply
[Why yes, Carolyn is scowling. Quite a lot. She hadn't signed up for this. She wasn't in the military, she was a doctor. How was this her life now? She could cry.]
Clothes would be very nice.
[She slides off of the table, wrapping the sheet around her as she does so.]
A phone? [She looks at Sam's hand and then down at her own.]
Huh. I have one too. Weird. And, oh crap. [She holds her phone up.] Apparently it's recording or something.

[ It's called the fun and giggles of the SGC? No? Technically, kidnapping hadn't been on her application form either ]
Oh, damn.
[ At least too much classified hadn't gone out? Except for Atlantis and Stargate. They could recover that ]
Okay. [ Sam put her phone back on the table, trying to grab and hold the sheet as best in place as she possibly could, which was actually looking like her biggest problem right now ] I'm going to see what's outside of those doors.
[ And here she was not hoping for a Goa'uld mothership. Damn you, Ba'al ]
Reply
I'm thinking that this is sick.
[She makes sure that the feed is ended and then cautiously follows Sam toward the doors.]
You think anyone is out there?
Reply
It's more than likely, the question though is who.
[ Along with where the rest of SG-1 where. She gave a quick look back to Carolyn, hand pressed on the door ]
You ready?
Reply
[She sighs and then nods slowly.]
As ready as I'm ever going to be.
Reply
No but you are a doctor, and you're part of the SGC even though you're not military. Maybe they needed a doctor?
[ Although that really didn't explain why she was from a year in the past.
Sam gave a nod, pushing the door just enough that there was a small gap she could look out of before slowly pushing it further, just enough to slip between it and the closed door. Time to hug the wall ]
Reply
Slinking out of the door behind Sam, she clutches both the sheet and the phone tightly in her hands. When she speaks again, she's dropped her voice down into an angry whisper.]
Who just puts people in a morgue? Alive people that is, and naked. What's up with that anyway?
Reply
[ Funny ]
Maybe they thought we weren't alive? Besides, aren't people in the morgue usually naked? [ Autopsies and the like? ]
Well, either they've got great scenery or we're still on Earth. [ Although the Goa'uld had replicated the SGC pretty well once before ]
Reply
Let's hope we're on Earth.
Reply
[ Definitely not ]
I hope so. [ Although given the likelihood? Well, she wasn't going to say that ] You said it was 2007, May? When exactly? What's the last thing that happened?
Reply
[She glances over at the blonde and arches an eyebrow. This is sooo beyond weird.]
I had dinner with my parents, which is a miracle all on its own. But before that, the whole whole thing with Vala's dad went down.
Reply
I remember that. That's... that was a while. [ Sorry, Carolyn. But if it makes you feel any better they had some good times? You just have yet to have had them ]
