[She's in the park, a good fifty feet or so away from the lake.]

I built a sonic screw driver back home. I figured replicating one here would be helpful. Given the appearance of this tree, I need to speed along my building. Does anyone know of where I can find any technology or building materials to aid in this?

[She holds up a regular old screwdriver.] I assume you don't mean one of these, because if so, I have plenty.

Umm, no. Sonic screwdrivers are different.

Nothing’s ever that easy.

What is a sonic screwdriver and how do you make one?

It's a probe. I need fine wires and thin metal.

I have plenty of wiring and thin metal. I’ve been dismantling various devices and salvaging parts. They should be working parts, the electrical current simply wasn't running through the devices themselves. I can give you some of what I have.

I can work with anything. Might take a bit, but I made one before. I can make one again.

I usually use an omni-tool, but I can't recreate that without eezo... [She considers for a moment. She's assuming 'probe' is just a synonym for 'scanning device' here, and that's something she can use.] How about a trade? I can lend you supplies and any assistance you need, and it's possible this sonic screwdriver tool could be useful for me as well. Would you consider showing me how to make one?
