So how screwed up are the phones?

It runs on different types of batteries - AAA, 329 and 337 watch batteries. Aluminum foil with some weird face on it. Every time you check, you get something different then the last. That answer your question?

Why would they use those? Low power, expensive after a while. I guess they expect me to steal that, too.

And I have a feeling there's more to it. I'm willing to bet right now, it's just a way of telling us not to stick our noses where they shouldn't be. Just like the city looping back on itself.

Being kept down by the phones doesn't surprise me. I've only been poking around a little bit, but I'm not liking anything I see so far. There's no consistency, and I don't have anything to work with. Do you know a lot? I mean, I just got here.
