I'm willing to bet everyone has the same music on their phones. And if there is something different, there's no guarantee you'll get exactly what someone gave to you.

So how screwed up are the phones?

I wouldn't get your hopes up.

It runs on different types of batteries - AAA, 329 and 337 watch batteries. Aluminum foil with some weird face on it. Every time you check, you get something different then the last. That answer your question?

...Part of me wants to take them all apart, and part of me wants to bury it and never think about it again. So call me interested!

Why would they use those? Low power, expensive after a while. I guess they expect me to steal that, too.

Burying it and never thinking about it again might not be the best idea - not until we know more about this place.

And I have a feeling there's more to it. I'm willing to bet right now, it's just a way of telling us not to stick our noses where they shouldn't be. Just like the city looping back on itself.

Yeah, that was hyperbole. Learned it from a friend; it's a hard habit to break.

Being kept down by the phones doesn't surprise me. I've only been poking around a little bit, but I'm not liking anything I see so far. There's no consistency, and I don't have anything to work with. Do you know a lot? I mean, I just got here.

About as much as anyone else whose been here for a few weeks. Just ideas of what we can and can't do. Nothing definitive about this place that's really helpful.
