[Hope everyone enjoys shaky cam time, as Burke is still very new to technology and most certainly his phone. But he manages to get it going and thinks he's got that fancy moving picture thing going on and turns the video on a familiar figure, that he's got sitting upright in a simple kitchen chair... tied to it.]Not sure what all that business was

I suggest you let him go, Burke.
[He has a sinking feeling that part of this broadcast is for him.]

Or what? Will you come find me? If so, make it a promise, Erik. I do so like promises.
[And he's cackling now, oh so amused at himself. As if Erik will be able to figure out where he is. He's at HIS mercy, isn't he?]
He really is a pretty thing, you know? I wonder how prettily he screams...

Casual almost.
It's when he's his most dangerous.]
Oh I don't need to come to find you now.
I'll just find you later.
When you least expect it.
You won't even know I'm there.

So you're just gonna leave 'em with me, eh? I'm sure Charlie here appreciates it. [Fingers pet through Charles' hair, and he tilts his head a bit, watching the telepath, who does little else but twitch and shift here and there under his touch.]
But I thank ya for leavin' me with such a sweet little thing. I'll be sure t'have all sorts a fun with 'em.

We'll see about that.
[And the feed ends. Your (and Lae) choice if we go to action.]

Whatever man, you don't scare him.]

He's pushing his powers out every few moments, searching for the specific knife (the weight he can guess) he's seen Burke with. Things that Charles might have on him.
It's not exactly a science, and it's going to take him longer than he wants. But he isn't about to let Burke keep a highly-unstable Charles captive just because he wishes to prove a point to Erik.
His doppleganger has chosen the wrong person to mess with.
Which he'll prove...
...once he finds the damn man.
But make no mistake. Erik's been hunting smarter men than this irishman for years.
This will be easy by comparison.]

He didn't like working in groups or even pairs but was overly familiar with the concept due to working with his brother and friends for centuries. He was well used to it. And if there was one advantage of working with a group it was this: other people made for great distractions when he needed one.
Loki found Erik well before the metal-controller found Charles. Teleporting to anywhere in the city was simple enough as the entity only screwed with that if he tried to go out of the preset boundaries and so in an instant the Trickster was all so very suddenly standing next to the mutant.]
Erik, I presume. [He didn't even miss a beat; he grabbed the man by the arm and had them teleported across the city in the blink of an eye.] Charles ( ... )

However, considering a stranger did it, without warning, the lamp posts around them creak as Erik tries to keep himself in control, without lashing out in defense.
Instead, he smooths a hand through his hair and gives a tight, controlled smile, his teeth flashing slightly.]
Next time, I suggest you at least explain what you're doing.
[Since the man...mutant...whatever mentions Charles, it seems they both have interest in protecting him.
Fine. He'll play the game.]
And you are?
[He looks Loki up and down, once. He's dangerous. He knows his own kind; predator. Though from the people he's met in this city so far, he has a suspicion that this one might be more dangerous than them all, if given a chance.
Reaching out with his abilities, he can feel that damn knife. Loki is telling the truth, as far as he can tell.]
Burke thinks that this Charles is the only one.

Loki.
[He raises a brow but otherwise makes no comment at the last statement. Frankly, he hasn't much reason to disagree.
He starts to move away, towards where the other occupants of the building are.]
I don't care what happens to the fool. Just so long as he realizes his place.
Come. No reason to give the idiot more time with your friend.

The name also breeds recognition, but not any that Erik is going to give away. Of course he knows of the old Norse stories. After getting out of the camps, he read a great deal--anything he could find, in whatever city he was traveling through. His own power had been anomaly to him...and someone like himself might have seemed God like to others...books on ancient myths had given his young self some comfort.
A contrast to the Frankenstein Monster.
But until shown otherwise, a name is simply that--a name.]
Oh good. You won't mind if I kill him, then?
[He starts moving faster, hand flexing absently at his side. A gesture of his hand and the door slowly eases open.]
Back room. Second door to the right.

[Sarcasm or not, Loki honestly didn't care. He wouldn't have minded doing it himself.
He halts long enough to watch the door open of its own accord. He doesn't glance at Erik but he can form his own opinion on that without looking. And he can keep things to himself, too.
He doesn't question the directions. Once the door is open he's already striding through it and heading straight there.
He doesn't do subtly like the mutant did to the last door; the second door to the right burst open in a small explosion of force, the door flying off its hinges and into the room as he strides through. Burke is only lucky that the god doesn't decide to send him flying across the room while he's at the show of force.]

I don't believe y'knocked, but I suppose I can let ya lads come in. It's not a right party without more than two is it?

And then he's twisting his hand, slowly, aiming to force Burke to stab himself in the side.
Not life threatening, yet. But slow and easy. Painful.]
I always thought it was the more the merrier.

He stood just inside the room close to the doorway slightly off to one side where he had sidestepped to make room for the mortal to enter behind him. He watched.
Then his eyes darted to Charles and Loki tried to guess whether he could see the man breathing or not. He presumed he wasn't dead simply because he didn't look dead, and because the Burke man wouldn't have much of a toy without him being alive.
His eyes darted back up to the action and he smiled.]
Our fool wishes to entertain us. Let him.
[And by 'let him' Loki meant 'please do kill him slowly and painfully for me to watch'.]

But really it all amused him, the pain, the knowledge that really he stood no chance against Erik. But that didn't mean he wouldn't fight any way. There's a hiss as he manages to pull it out, thumb dragging along the flat of the knife, through his own blood.]
A fool? Well if I'm that tell me how t'please ya m'lord!
[And he'll pull out two smaller blades, made more for throwing, and he'll start to juggle them along with his knife. The wound doesn't even seem to bother him, not yet. He'll step to stand beside Charles' and the chair he's tied to, watching them both.]
Got a few tricks up my sleeve, I hope this is entertainin' enough, lads? Wouldn't want to bore ya before our honored guest wakes up, eh?
