[The feed cuts on abruptly as the phone hits the ground, giving an nice view of the morgue floor. Just as the sound of plastic being ripped/cut open is heard and someone sitting up.]This one in a place of grey and metal, yet before it was dark and fading vistas. Yet, fully not is it all undone as pieces glitter like in the sun. The dream did fade, ( Read more... )

This is no dream, my lady, but a prison. I assure you that the walls are real enough.

[Faramir could not hope to guess what she was - if a member of any of the races of Middle-earth had been wounded in such a way, they would not have been able to speak to the living again - but she was a prisoner, as he was. If he could not offer comfort, he could at least tell her the truth.]

[She looks back down at the device. Have a happy and curious look, because others are here.]

A dreamer dost speak and claims of none that the twinning of Elysium is here. Why such an odd birdcage for those who can not fly? Are we to be puppets to a new master?

[And she doesn't really wait for an answer as she pokes at her wound, and actually attempts to use one hand to fit the pieces back together.]

Our captors may think to make us puppets, but they will not succeed.

My lady, you need the aid of a healer.

A puppet on strings or laying unused, a puppet still no matter the name. Only the master changes, why not would failure or success be thought if that is all it is meant to be?

[Blank look]

Movement is still an act in which I can perform, that which can bind and seal the cracks is all that is needed to keep the tides back.

There are those who would argue that they have no master but themselves.

Will you permit me to bring you what you need, at least?

A dreamer can choose, but is not above taking another to bandy them about...If the dreamer wishes then the dreamer must. This one can not say no if this is the dreamers wish of my time. Perhaps a song or ditty of a dance could be exchanged, a clown has not much in which to trade for any such acts in which you give.

[She's given up for now on repairs and instead is using the cut up body bag as a cloak and hood, because she misses hers and it's a decent work around for now.]

I do not offer to help out of hope of reward. I can bring you clothes and bandages to heal your wounds, if you wish it. The decision is yours to make, not mine.

[That makes no sense to her at all. Dreamers are supposed to want things for doing favors like this.]

Rewards not wanted is a rare affair, yet more like a fading star is that of asking. Why does the dreamer not lead and demand as Dreamers are meant to do?

...A means to mend would create a better way, in which to find and ask such things. If no favor you are to ask, to seek the hart that brings the answers we can both agree to sojourn for.

You mistake me for someone else, my lady. I am no dreamer. I am Faramir, a Captain of Gondor.

What is this hart you speak of?

All are dreamers if you are to be. You hope and see things in your time of restful ways.

The elusive prey of the hunt we seek. Or perhaps Faramir has found that which is the answers of this place and its bars? Is this a new stage in which we are to act? Or just a place for the discarded toys?

What are you, if you are not able to dream?

I'm afraid I cannot answer your questions. All I know is that this will not be an easy hunt.

A possession of amusement, a toy, that which is made by a dream but can not created its own dream. We are dolls that serve dreamers in whatever way they ask of us.

A pity or an adventure then if your views look at such that way.

You are no doll. Not here. Prison or not, you are free to be whoever you wish to be.

[While speaking, he'd gathered up clothes and makeshift bandages from the shelter he shared Éomer.]

I am a short distance from the building where you are held. I will join you soon.

If that is what is asked of me, though how it is done is a mystery. How it is that one must choose, perhaps I should ask of those within here as well.

[She finally moves off the table she started on and collects her missing pieces.]

A midway should there be to meet, or should I remain with steel doors and gray?

It is something you will learn, in time.

You are in a strange building, which many dark corridors and strange rooms. It may be easier for you to wait where you are.

That advice and command will be taken unto mind. A cease to wander or bring alight to others where I await the sight.

[Instead of leaving she instead goes about fitting the broken parts on the table together like a jigsaw puzzle.]
