Where are we? This can't be Rivendell.

[Not only because it looks nothing like anywhere an Elf would dwell but also because Sam has no clue how he would've gotten back there in the first place.]

I have been told the city is called Abax. Not much else is known. This is not Rivendell. It's landscape is foreign to me and the other elves here.

From other times? What do you mean? [He knew very well what she meant but he didn't want to believe it. He hoped there was some hidden meaning behind her words because otherwise everything made even less sense than it first seemed to, so that's why he asked. He needed clarification just to be sure.]
