[ Apparently Alex has hit the video button on accident, seeing as no one's told him how to lock his touch screen yet, and you're getting a lovely, if not nauseatingly blurred, view of the sidewalk as he wanders along one of the many in Abax. A couple moments pass of boring, blurred movement, and then a resounding ping, like metal coming into

But when the phone hits the ground and he sees Alex - recognizing him quickly from the blond hair and his voice. ] It cannot rain pistole. [ A light snort - something meant to express his amusement and the thought: 'you're an idiot'. ]
Reply
Really? Oh, nevermind, must just be imagining the splitting headache I've got now.
[ A pause as he remembers a conversation earlier ]
Someone was looking for you.
Reply
I see only one. [ Raining would imply he'd see many, Alex.
But there's a noticeable tension in his shoulders and he straightens slightly with the information. Alex can't see it, but his hand is lowering, finding and curling around the scalpel he'd found during his arrival. ]
Who? [ Some part of him doubted it was Fiora and Cahin. And that in itself, he decided, was a cause for concern. ]

[ The noticeable tension is noticed. Alex is curious. ]
Old Italian guy. Giovanni. Said he came in dead too.
Reply
[ Il Lupo makes a low noise in acknowledgement, turning his head slightly away from the feed - as if to check his surroundings. Cautious, suddenly. ] Giovanni is a common name. [ He'd met many of them; was sure he'd probably killed a few of them in his lifetime. ]
Reply
He's just watching you look spooked. That's interesting. ] He didn't give me a last name.
There a reason you should look worried about that?
Reply
[ It's not so much being spooked as being aware of your surroundings, knowing that someone looking for you was never a pleasant thing in his line of work. ] Someone of my.. [ his hand lifts (still holding the scalpel carefully between his fingers) in favor of making a light gesture, trying to find the right word ] ..lifestyle. Has many enemies. [ The loved ones of those he'd brought an end to, those who stood against or sought to harm Fiora. And perhaps now, those who threatened Cahin as well. ]
Being sought out means someone will walk away with blood on their hands. [ He's no qualms with raising a blade, finding new prey. But having faced death once at the hands of a woman he loved (loves?) was a brutal reminder of how wicked fate could be. ]

He's got a pretty good idea of what Il Lupo is getting at with the scalpel, but has to ask anyway. ] That lifestyle being what?
[ He thinks back to the old Italian guy and their conversation. He'd wished him luck, seemed very congenial and well meaning. Kind. Much different from the reaction Il Lupo was giving him, and suddenly Alex is wishing he hadn't mentioned it at all. ] He wasn't looking for blood.

I was created [ taught, trained, molded ] to kill under my master's [ did he even consider Cesare that, after what he'd done to Fiora? ] orders.
[ But Alex's words catch his attention. Bring a halt to his thoughts of what he'd do if someone did have ill intent towards him in this place. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding on his part, a vicious assumption that a threat could appear any and everywhere.
He's quiet for a few seconds, looks between the feed and his surroundings once more before returning his attention to the other. ] You are certain?
Reply
[ He's not certain. Pretty sure. But not really certain. But he's not about to send killer here after the old dude. ] Yeah. Certain.

[ He has no problems with you, Alex. You have nothing to worry about.
But the question earns a sigh. The situation is complicated, especially with everything that had happened with Fiora. Some part of him finds it hard to truly call Cesare his 'master'. And Fiora.. she wished for him to be 'free'. She held no position of power of him now, not technically. ] If he is, he has done well to hide himself.
[ There's a pause and he nods, understanding. A wordless form of saying he intends to cause no harm. ] Then I will look for none in return.
Reply
So no reason for you to be fighting then.
[ Yeah, that's rich coming from Alex 'Hostilities R Us' Summers. For the last part, just a nod back. So chatty, these two. ]
Reply
Senza motivo. [ A small nod, as if to silently promise Alex that he means this man Alex speaks of no harm. ] No reason.
[ It works for them? ]

You got a name?
Reply
A title. [ Of course, he had a name. A name he hadn't spoken or heard in years. ]
Reply
That title being?
