[When the feed turns on, Drake looks ... tired. There are dark circles under his eyes, and when he speaks up, his voice is low and husky from the lack of sleep.]

I have some information and suggestions some of you might like to hear. [A pause as he runs a hand over his face, then back up to go through his hair. It's a low attempt to fix it. At ( Read more... )

[Oh, well. He'll take what he can get.]

What type of patterns they had, if there were any, to people showing up and how they did.

Oh, the River Styx.

[He can only really assume what else happened, if it was just like the Underworld he read about in books, then there weren't any other questions he had regarding that.]

How fascinating.

[He's a little amused at 'kid'. He was nowhere near it.]

I'm perfectly fine.

Thanks for the information, good to have on hand. ( she shifts her position, shaking her head to the comment about other worlds though ) Unfortunately I haven't gathered much of my own on this place just yet. As for other places, though - I can't say I've randomly appeared in strange worlds before.

( a pause )

You should probably rest. You look drained.

[Ah. She sounds informative. Though it wasn't much, it was nice to know who went through what and who didn't. At least she sounded like she knew what she was talking about.]

Thank you, and you're welcome.

[A pause.]

It's just a bit of exhaustion.

No strange places unless, for whatever reason, "Earth" isn't home to you that is. Then it's a different world, although nothing like this and definitely not something I would categorize as being strange such as this area. ( she's not going to mention the animus and it's dives, if only because they don't necessarily lead to "another world" and most importantly, because she has never personally taken a "trip" so to speak )

A bit leads to a lot. You should rest, at least a small portion of time. It might not seem like it helps, but it does. Trust me, I've been there. Living on little to no rest causes errors. ( sometimes fatal ones )

Yes, it is. But I think there are others here who aren't from Earth.

[He honestly does not pay any attention to that bit. He's talked enough about himself, or rather, that's how he feels.]

[Oh, for the love of -- okay. Children were so stubborn. Still, he greets him with a slight smile.]

Constant trips are useless. No matter how many times you do it, the trains will come and go as they always do. If they stopped, I doubt they would take us home.

Only a matter of time before it either stops or someone decides to jump in front of it.

[His tone is flat, uncaring.]

Whatever plan there is, it's not going to work at the moment. My opinion is to wait it out first rather than hustle and bustle over nothing. The train obviously has a set schedule and other places to go, but if and when it stops is in control of the someone or something that conducts it. Or the city itself.

I checked the subway. There's something on the trains. Whatever it is it's sentient and doesn't like getting looked at.

And... yeah, I have. The Underworld.

[Oh. New information. He liked that.]

Do you think it's malevolent?

[He raises an eyebrow.]

You're from the Underworld as well?

I'm not certain but that's my guess.

[A nod.]
Yup.

[That's never good. He licks his lips, rolling his eyes. Fantastic.]

Anything important you would like to tell me?
