All right. [Straight down to business.]

If the words 'Blue Ale' mean anything to you, call me back. [Maybe a few others from that other universe have been dragged here as well. A girl can hope.]

[The following is FILTERED away from Saren :| Sorry]It's pretty much obvious that the city has been deserted. Whether that means we're all going to ( Read more... )

[aw yeah B) he glances over before grasping her shoulder in support for a moment then pulling away.] A new trick of Revan's no doubt- or perhaps someone trying to contend with his power. Whatever the case, it is best to be prepared.

[He walks over to one of the tables, dumping a bag of various could-be weapons he found when scavenging, including things like kitchen knives and pipes.] Who knows, perhaps we will learn something.

[The touch surprises her, but she smiles wryly at him after a moment, snorting.] Maybe. I never thought I'd miss Coruscant, but at least it made more sense than this place. [Which made. None at all.

She uncrosses her legs and stands swiftly, going over to grab her backpack. She had scrounged a few things as well, although the assortment of possible weapons Malik had found beat hers. She had been more concerned with food, toiletries, and other such supplies... But she adds her stash to his so they can start going through the items.] The scalpels are a little flimsy, but they're razor sharp. [She picks up one of the kitchen knives, testing it's weight.] And these are for cutting food, so they're not quite balanced right, but they'll dig a lot deeper...

[He has to snort in return.] At least Coruscant was alive. This place is much like a corpse, looted and perhaps still clinging to some semblance of life. [He frowns] I do not like it, Ashley. There is something in this land that is not right.

[He nods, pulling some cloth out of the bottom of his bag. Ugly sweatshirts and sweatpants, flimsy t-shirts- ugly but useful for clothing and perhaps bandages. He pushes them to the side before picking up a scalpel.] They can be used for throwing, though it will take practice with this weight. [He picks up the pipe, holding it out to her.] This will probably be most useful the next time we got to explore the area. Unrefined damage, but heavy. [He didn't trust this place, not. at. all.]

[Nodding, she follows his movements with their assortment of low-tech weaponry. She takes the pipe from him with an amused smirk, testing it's weight and giving it a light practice swing.] Good. This'll work. I'm also pretty sure we can find the supplies to make homemade bombs around here. Molotovs, definitely. Those might come in handy. [She had seen the right cleaning supplies around; on their next hunt out in the city she'd start looking for the individual ingredients.

Malik's comment about corpses and semblances of life was bothering her. Ashley frowns. She struggles with herself for a moment, as if deciding whether to speak at all, when she decides-- to hell with it. Not speaking about it gave it too much power over her.] When I was still traveling with Shepard, we ran into these... things, sometimes. We called them husks. They were grown out of the bodies of what had once been human. Some of them were my own-- [She cuts herself off sharply, sighing, reaching up to rub the back of her neck.] Didn't matter if the ( ... )
