[When Éomer awakes, he's chilled to the bone, and there's a bright light above him. Groaning, he moves to raise a hand to block it, but there's something in his hand. So he raises the other hand. With that accomplished, he can fully take in his surroundings, and what he sees confuses and worries him.

Moving to sit up, he focuses on the object in his hand, but is quickly distracted by the thin gown he's wearing. Is it constructed of thin parchment?]

What sorcery is this?

[It's asked to himself, as he doesn't expect an answer.]

[The sight he awakens to makes Egon immediately claustrophobic. He's enclosed in... something and he can't seem to find the pull on the zipper that might lead him to freedom. Why he's even in this situation hasn't even entered his mind yet. He simply wants to get out of this enclosure. First things first.

The zipper pull might be on the outside. Perhaps if there's someone nearb-

Before he even has the chance to call out he hears a man's voice, though he's not entirely sure what was said.]

Is someone there who can let me out?

[Upon hearing the other voice, Éomer immediately jumps off the table, looking for a weapon. He doubts the small object that fits in his palm is one, so he looks around, spotting slim, metal knife-like things on a nearby tray. He grabs one and then addresses the voice.]

Where are you? I cannot see you. Speak!

[Though now that he has the weapon in hand, he reevaluates the words, and realizes that if a person needs to be let out, they must be in somewhere. The freezer doors mean little to him, and he doesn't consider a person may be there. So he approaches the odd black bag and nudges it with the knuckles of the hand holding the strange item he awoke holding.]

[sosghosts]

[There's a muted noise not too far away, and it wakes him. Venkman's eyes crack open slowly, but it's pitch black and he's laying on something very stiff.

He attempts to sit up, but bangs his head on the metal only inches above him. The sound of his skull hitting metal should have been enough to alert someone he was there, if not, his cry certainly would.]

OW!

[drspengler]

[The noises he's hearing outside make him vaguely nervous. You can only take so many doctorate prerequisites before you'd know the sound of a scalpel scraping against a surgical tray anywhere. And there's something about this guy's speech pattern that reminds Egon of some high fantasy novel.]

Here, in the... whatever this is. I think- [He feels the nudge.] Yes, that's me. I think the pull on the zipper is outside. Can you find it?

[A sudden clang of a hard object against metal makes him jump slightly. But that voice... was that Venkman?]

Peter? Peter, are you there too?

[He has no idea what a zipper is. They don't exist in his world, so he's just about to inquire when he hears the loud bang behind the wall. What in the gods' names is going on here?

Taking a moment to consider what to do, he decides to deal with the man trapped in the bag first before trying to discover who is behind the shiny metal wall.]

What is a zipper?

[He can't exactly make out what the voices are saying, but if he can hear them.... they can hear him. He starts banging against the metal above him with his fists.]

IN HERE! LET ME OUT OF THIS THING!

[drspengler]

[The man doesn't know what a zipper is? Egon is eager to find out who this person is and where he comes from. That's definitely some sort of European accent... he thinks.]

Okay. There's a long line of tiny metal bits sewn into the fabric. Do you see that? There should be a larger piece of metal at one end. Pull on it.

[His body seems to be gradually regaining sensation after... whatever happened, happened. There's an object in his hand and though he can't see it right now he can tell that it's probably an electronic device of some sort. He's also now aware that he's not really wearing much. This could prove embarrassing.

The other voice (Venkman's?) Sounds like it's coming from inside something metal. Some kind of chamber. And it sounds distressed.]

Hang on, we'll get you out!

[rohirrims]

[He switches the scalpel to his other hand, finds the larger piece of metal, and pulls straight up instead of down. He frowns. That's definitely not right. But there's someone else in distress and Éomer doesn't have time for games. He pulls in a downward direction and is relieved to see the bag part in two.

Quickly, he unzips the bag the rest of the way, revealing a man.]

There. Now, to discover your friend's location.

[sosghosts]

[Venkman is no longer forming words, just shouting as he continues kicking and punching at the metal.]

[drspengler]

[The first thing Egon realizes as the bag is opened in front of his face is that he's not wearing his glasses. His eyes are attempting to focus on things that are more than half an inch in front of him and failing miserably.

He also immediately notices the combined scents of sterility and rotted flesh at once and recognizes it as a morgue, even though he can't see much. Why the hell would he be in a morgue? The recognition of a body bag also hits him now as he's clambering carefully down from the gurney. He can't see the floor very well so he's being very slow about things. The inability to see is also making it very difficult to tell whether or not the thin paper shift is keeping him appropriately covered as he's sliding to the floor. Probably not.

The thought that he was mistaken for a dead body doesn't sit well with him and it's the only thing he can think of that would explain why he found himself in such a strange situation.]Thank you. Just so you're aware I'm practically blind without my glasses so I can't see a thing

[Éomer doesn't know what glasses are, so he can't look for them, but he observes the man moving for the freezer and comes over to help.]

What do you need, friend?

[His fingers come in to help fiddle with the latch now that he knows that there's someone else trapped back behind the door. After a moment, the latch is opened and Éomer grabs the handle, figuring since the other man said he was nearly blind, he won't mind if he takes the task upon himself. He opens the door, hoping they can calm the man inside.]

[sosghosts]

[The drawer slides open, and Venkman sits up immediately, no longer screaming. His eyes, however, are darting around the room quickly as he tries to figure out why he's in a morgue.]

Spengs... Some... other guy [Éomer]... What the hell is going on?!

[drspengler]

[There's immense relief when he finds that it is, in fact, Venkman. Having a familiar face in unfamiliar surroundings helps a lot... even if he can't exactly see Peter's face.]

I'm not sure yet. [And because he's pretty sure the other guy has no idea what to look for...] Hey Peter, if you see my glasses anywhere, tell me. [He grabs his arm and begins helping him down from the drawer.]

I think the first thing we should do is get out of here. Something about this whole setup makes me want to be somewhere else. Possibly the fact that it's a morgue.

[rohirrims]

[As Egon helps Peter out, Éomer returns the scalpel to where he found it. These men seem as lost and confused as he is, and he doesn't see them as a threat.]

I do not understand this place, but perhaps together we may find the answers. First, we must find our clothes.

[And he definitely wanted his sword.]
