Okay, so I've had a few days to settle with the fact that, right now? I can't get away. No exit to the city, and working with uh...other stuff just lands me right back here. So make the best of the situation, right? Found a pretty decent sized apartment, stocked up on soda and junk food, it's near a café so for proper food I can check that out

Exactly how have you attempted to leave, if I might ask?
Reply
I tried to walk out, but that doesn't seem to work. I found a magic shop and waved a magic wand. Desperate means and things like that.
[If a magic wand happened to be his entire body :|]

Your words, not mine.
I doubt you meant walking.
[Erik smirks, even if Billy can't see it.]
So let's try this again, without you lying.
You're among those with abilities--you shouldn't worry about that.
Reply
Well to be fair, I did try to walk. What makes you think I have abilities? [He's only worried about the whole secret identity thing...]

[He lets out a sigh.]
I can get a telepath to tell me you're lying, you know.
[Someone without strict morals on things? That would be Erik at this point. He's stressed, frustrated, and just wants the truth.]
Reply
That's a bit cheap, isn't it? Not letting people have their own secrets.
It should be up to me to tell people if I have anything or not. [Yup, good at replying in a way that helps your case Billy.]
A spell. And it didn't work.
Reply
Under any other circumstance, I would completely agree with you. But here?
We don't have that luxury. You should understand that.
[At the mention of spells, he quirks an eyebrow.]
Really. A mutation--?

[He's still glaring at you. Holding up a hand into the view of the video feed and lets electricity crackle around his fist.]
Think of it as whatever you want.
Reply
[A quirk of his lips.]
Fine. A trick for a trick.
[He turns the device to show a lone light pole. Within moments it's twisting, curling up upon itself.]
Reply
Doubt you were.
[He watches and his eyes slowly widen, the glare vanishing and he just...takes a few moments. Because...he knows someone back home that can do the same thing.]
That's...okay yeah, pretty neat.
Reply
[He pauses, then decides he'll attempt to reach out, first.]
My name is Erik Lehnsherr.
Reply
Billy Kaplan. So you can...control magnetism, right?
Reply
Yes, I can control magnetism. And others tell me that I fully adopt my name of Magneto in the future.
Reply
I-Yeah, you do. Sorry, sometimes I don't think before I open my mouth.
Reply
[Erik watches Billy carefully. He's had to give this talk, once already.]
Considering what I've heard, I don't even know if we're from the same timelines.
I want to assure you that whatever I become...or will not become-- that's not who I am now.
And I don't appreciate being judged for events in my hypothetical future.
Reply
He listens to him though and he smiles, nodding his head. He knew exactly what he meant.]
Not judging at all. It's weird seeing a younger version and one pre all the Magneto crazy I've seen but...I get it. I sorta, kinda knew someone in your situation.
