[ She'd panicked when she'd awoken. A morgue? Either the Mogai had somehow increased their hallucinations or something else had happened. She didn't remember yet even leaving the ship but why in God's name would she be in a morgue? ]

I'm hoping that there's an explanation for this, although I'm weary of whether or not there's one to be received.

We're still all trying to figure out what the point to all this is, but so far, we're clueless.

Do you know if there are any theories?

Nothing solid, no. Though I have thrown around the idea that they're watching us right now, taking notes on how we behave and what we'll do when the food runs low.

It's not a pretty thought, I know. And hardly the best thing to welcome you with. Sorry about that.

You have nothing to be sorry for, unless you're one of those in question.

[ At least there was an idea, anyway ] Sadly it's a rather likely idea.

[She sighs.]

So hey, you need some clothes? All I've got are scrubs, but some people are out looting abandoned stores for their wardrobe.

The scrubs will be fine, thank you. Where should I meet you?

Outside the morgue is a hallway leading to an elevator. If you take it up to the second floor, I'll meet you where it opens.

And there's now one tall brunette making her way up to that second floor ]

[And there's an average height blonde in scrubs holding a neatly folded pair just outside the elevator. The pants may be a little short.]

[ And when the elevator opens Helen gives the woman a small smile ] You're the woman I was just speaking with? [ They'd not exchanged names nor faces but given the scrubs it was a safe bet ]

That's me, Christine. Here you go. [She holds out the clothes.]

I hope they fit. You're taller than I anticipated.

Thank you. [ Helen gave her a smile ]

It’s all right - it’s only a temporary measure, at any cost. How long have you been here?

Just a few days. Apparently there was a mass arrival that day, with people arriving in the morgue in groups of three. Now it looks like it's tapering off and people are coming one at a time.
