I can't decide what bothers me more, the uneducated masses admitting they don't know someone as famous as me, or the fact that everyone seems so very intent on being as pessimistic as possible.

It's a sad essay on our world today.

Inventions, mostly. Little things like...pretty much every interesting leap forward when it comes to electricity. And frankly, I discovered it, regardless of what else you might read.

Actually, I should confess - I'm not human. Electricity was discovered three millenia ago for my people, maybe more. We don't even have records of that time anymore.
