The cheerful chime of someone entering the building has her grabbing for one of the surgical tools she snatched from the morgue-a bone saw-but she lowers her guard when she got a good look at just who it was; Finnick.
Supplies abandoned, she jumps up to meet him, letting him draw her into a hug though not returning it herself. She rests her forehead against his chest, briefly, then pulls away.]
I might've upgraded a little. [Not that scalpels and scissors were much of an improvement.]

He needs rope. As soon as they leave this place, they should find some rope. But later.] You too, huh? [He points to the bag on his back.] Not as fancy as what we'd get in the arena, but it's better than hitting up the marketplace of the dead.

[She shrugs, doubles back for her things. She hastily shoves what she's collected into the bag-all except for two things; one of the pamphlet's she snags from the Help Desk and a length of rope she'd stolen from a hiking store. That Johanna offers to Finnick, then quickly heads towards the way he came in.
She pauses at the doors, looks back at him. Waiting.]
Come on. We can save the touching reunion crap for when we find our little revolutionary.

He's already following her by the time she asks him to come on, his fingers working the virgin rope into complicated knots. It's not enough, but for now, it works.] You're too good to me, Johanna.
[He shoves the rope into his pocket and opens the door for her, nodding for her to go first.] Not that she seems all too excited to see us.
[And so Finnick takes the lead, going in the direction of the building that Katniss had found herself camped on, because that's how I roll.]

She drops down from her perch easily, already carrying a backpack with 'I ♥ Abax stamped on it.] Let's go. [Singleminded? Katniss? Naw]

[Johanna keeps pace with Finnick as they make their way to Katniss, muttering a 'Like she ever is' under her breath.
And when they finally find her, Johanna has her arms crossed over her chest, eying the I ♥ Abax with a small smirk.] Glad to see you're blending in.

Where do we start? [He glances at Johanna before looking at Katniss.] And while we're out there, I suggest finding a supply of food and water.

[And she's already thought about that] Hospital. That's where everyone else is starting out so far. It's got running water, iodine for purification. And these. [She holds up the scalpel she'd been toying with earlier.] Although knowing you two, you've already taken care of that.

But she shuts up long enough to let them get a word in about their game plan, only piping up after they've said their piece.] Not to shut you down but apparently there's a group of idiots claiming the hospital as part of their turf. [She doesn't look as put out about relaying that little bit of information as someone should under normal circumstances.] I'm always up for a gang war, but are you?

[The smile falls off his face. Territory wars already. This wasn't going to be like in the Games. Staking territory makes things permanent.] I'd feel more comfortable if we were better equipped, personally, but it's nothing we can't handle. [A sigh.] I think it's only the top floor they've claimed, and there are others. We can stop at different stores on our way back there.

She pauses for a moment. On the one hand, she definitely doesn't want to get involved in any turf wars. On the other hand, there are decent supplies in that hospital] We don't have to go charging in there, and we need those supplies. If it looks like it's too dangerous, we can scout around and see if there's anywhere else to get them, but there's no point wasting time and letting other people snap them up if we can get in and out safely.
[Another hesitation] Most of the people I've spoken to so far don't know anything about the Games. Or how they work. [It goes unspoken that she means they won't necessarily be prepared for a bunch of teenagers to go murdering on their asses]
