Lenalee had done all she could to try and blend in to this odd world. While she knew about strange technologies thanks to her brother, she had to admit that some of the things in the city was far more advanced than anything she or her brother could dream about. Still, she was an Exorcist and they had to adapt to survive. She had to do it more so, to keep Allen safe so they could return home and be together again in her world ( ... )

Oh Timcampy knew that. After all he had kept Allen out of the kitchen for that exact purpose. He was a good little helper of course. The small golem landed lightly on Lenalee's shoulder, not wanting to extinguish the candle with the flap of his wings. When they stepped into the room, a faint grin came to be over his front. Seemed young master was none the wiser. Eeeexcellent.

Lenalee had certainly taken the adequate precautions it seemed. If she had baked it when he was around the house, the scent would have given it away instantly. He hadn't seen it coming. How could he? Allen had not mentioned that the day Mana took him in was his given birthday. He would probably learn how Lenalee knew but at the moment all he could do was stare with wide eyes at the cake and the smiling girl holding it.

"Wha- How did you know?" he managed to say. A feat indeed given he had been rendered speechless.

"How else do you think?" She said with a gentle tease behind her tone. Having him back was a dream come true and something she could probably thank this crazy place for. Their last encounter in their world wasn't exactly the best but since their reunion, Lenalee had been all smiles and happiness. Sure she missed the rest of her 'world' but to know Allen was here and safe made her heart warm.

"Brother has files on every one in the Order. I came across information when I helped him clean." She explained before her hands moved forward to present the cupcake to him. "Here. Make a wish and blow out your candle. I hope you like it! Jeryy taught me how to make chocolate cake since it's always been my favorite." She said sheepishly before her head tilted to nudge against Timcampy. "And he helped too."

"I apologize. I hope you're not displeased that I did?" She asked with just a hint of worry in her tone that flashed on her face only to quickly leave. She hated when she felt weak and when her worry often burdened those around her. She had never felt as useless as she did during the Ark day. Being lugged around like a suitcase, being of no use and only allowed to see the best of her friends fight one another in such painful manners. She hated it.

Once he blew the candle out, she smiled and offered the plate to his eager hands. She certainly hoped he liked it at least.

Wandering beside him, she knelt down and held her hands out towards the small fire that helped flicker soft yet haunting glows of yellow and orange around the room. Shadows danced but there was an eerie calm about watching said flames. "I really hope you enjoy it. Jeryy tried to teach me but- I'm pretty sure I'll never be as good as him." She smiled.
