Johanna idly tossed rocks onto the ice and watched as they broke through the surface, her expression distant and gaze assessing. There was no way across, no ice thick enough risking the long walk across the surface. A boat was unlikely with this weather, as was a raft; those were Finnick's specialties, not hers. Johanna idly bit her lip, thinking. Swimming was out of the question-even if it wasn't cold enough to chill the most experienced of survivalists to the bone, there was no way she would be convinced to go into that water-but she still wanted to know what the deal was with that glowing tree.
It had been the first hint since entering Abax, a vague inkling of what was going on, what could happen. It may be a trap but in the same breath, it could be the solution to getting out of this place.]
