(no subject)
It's been a few since I last posted... I want to try and update this on a daily basis but it's not that easy when I'm always so tired! Quick update on the few days I've missed to post anything:
April 29th - It was my last day of placement at Hilton Suites. I'm actually quite sad. Even though I was only there for less than 2 months I managed to get close to the staff. I'll definitely miss seeing their faces every week, but I hope to visit them again soon and to keep in touch. My mom picked me up and we headed to STC. As soon as she met up with my step dad, I headed Sauga for Jayden's 4th birthday. Jeahnny cooked loads of food! Her cooking always makes my tummy happy :) Everyone at the party I had already met except for Mika, Alden, and Sarah. We played Cranium, TABOO, and Monopoly Deal!
April 30th - It was my cousin's birthday celebration at THIS IS LONDON along with two of his friends that I just met. It was also my other friend's birthday, so it was definitely convenient. Kill two birds with one stone. Although I was completely sober, I still enjoyed. I don't think I've ever been surrounded with that many gays in my whole life. I LOVED IT! They're as fun as hanging out with my white friend (Monika) and her friends. If you want to party hard, GAYS&WHITES ARE THE WAY TO GO! I had one shot, but I stopped at that. My tummy hasn't been co-operating with alcohol lately? After we left the club, we ate at PHO's! I wonder if I'll ever get tired of that place considering I eat there so often? We didn't get back to the hotel until 4am and was k.o. by 5:30am.
May 1st - Wow, already?! After we got all our things, everyone who stayed at the hotel decided to have brunch at Fran's. We headed to my work afterward because everyone (or almost everyone) finds my manager really attractive? Yeah... I guess, for a 29 year old? lmao! I'm kidding. My manager and I are cools, I think? His nephew on the other hand is really cute. However, I don't know if he's actually straight, regardless if he has a girlfriend. Lols.
Randomly, Cherisse's mom called me asking if I'd like to take part in a beauty pageant? I thought that it was nice of her to ask. I said I'd consider joining. As she was explaining everything we'd have to do, it sounded really fun and interesting. I don't know, I'm not really sure. I don't mind doing it for kicks, but competitions aren't really my thing. It makes me feel just a tad uncomfortable, especially the thought of people looking at you in general just makes me feel awkward. Lols. We'll see what happens. I said I want to see how the orientation goes. If by chance I happen to be busy that day, then I guess it's not meant to be.
