so for starters, last thursday was my last night with justin for a while. that night was among the best times i've ever had with him. when he picked me up he gave me a rose and a really cool card he made. i gave him a card and a framed photo of me wearing the infamous "I DID JUSTIN THREE TIMES" shirt. then we headed over to bucca di beppo's. i've only been there once before really long time ago, and i forgot how much freakin food they give you! but the food was sooo good.
sexxxxy justin
lots of food
after that, we went to the beach to watch the sunset, or so we thought.
the sky was way too cloudy to see any sort of sunset, but that's ok because we had the whole beach to ourselves. it definitely was...
i wanted to stay there forever.
after the beach we went to starbucks, of course. next we went to rachel's birthday party for a little bit, and then we were off to signal hill.
the view up there is beautiful. this place is pretty significant because it was where we went on one of our first dates.
that night was so amazing, it was really hard for me to say goodbye, even though i knew it wasn't goodbye forever. :(
friday was the big day. i packed all my stuff in the back of the car and left cypress for my new home, san diego state. it took less than an hour and a half to get there, i was quite surprised. i got checked into my dorm room, met my roommate, unpacked and got my room all set up.
my side of the room.
my desk.
this is one funky-ass chair.
the closet doesn't have a door.
my bookshelf.
laura (my roommate)'s side of the room.
a lovely view of the parking structure from my window.
today i decorated.
i love that i get to wake up to this.
saturday and sunday were not entirely too exciting, everyone was pretty much just doing their own thing. i got to know laura a little better, she's really nice, i'm glad that we get along great.
on monday, classes started. i'm taking 15 units this semester... econ 101, phil 110 (critical thinking and logic), comm 200 (intro to mass communication), comm 103 (public speaking), and art 157 (art history). all of the classes seem really challenging yet interesting at the same time. i have a great schedule; my classes on mon/wed/fri don't start until 10 am and on tue/thur, 12:30 pm. they don't seem that hard yet, but i am sure that will change very, very soon.
the floor i live on is all girls for some reason. but i kind of like it because it's not so rowdy... when i visit the other co-ed floors, it's so noisy and distracting. i'm glad that it's peaceful where i live but a party is just a short elevator ride away. everyone on the 6th and 7th floors have basically just been doing their own thing, no one really knows each other. that is, except for my corner of the hall... all of my neighbors are really cool, i'm so happy that we get along great.
