the past week has been soo long! i am so happy it's the weekend. but the weekend goes by too fast... so sad.
anyways.
mr. loomis printed out my photos finally. i was really impressed, they turned out a hell of a lot better than i expected. they were still a little pixelated, but not a whole lot. they looked good, but the only problem was that he printed out the wrong ones!!!! he didn't even bother to print out the ones i specifically asked him to print. you know, my super good ones. instead, he did my ok good ones. argghhhh. i said "well it's nice that you're doing this for me, but where's the ones that i told you to print?" then he got mad and said, "it sounds like you're being ungrateful. i took time out of my weekend to print these for you and you aren't being appreciative at all." ugghh... "mr. loomis of course i'm grateful for this, but i kind of wanted to enter in some of my better ones... being that this is a CONTEST and all." that man makes me really frusterated sometimes.
also, there's another photo contest coming up... one for the anaheim convention center. i'm going to enter in a lot of my color photos, but loomis was saying that i should try making some digital pieces as well because not a lot of people are entering in those categories. lately i've been a little anti-photoshop, because i think that it requires more skill to take a good photo than to take a marginal photo and make it look better with photoshop. but i started messing around with it, and i made a really nice one to enter...
and i made a black and white version of it too...
i've been getting a few college letters lately... i'm accepted to uc riverside and cal state long beach. that's a good sign that there's more to come... i can't wait until march 15th, when all the biggie school letters come out. i also got a letter from chico state. they want me in their honors program. i've never really wanted to go there, but there's a chico seminar thing in costa mesa next wednesday so i'm thinkin i should go to that since they want me so badly.
i've been really stressed out lately, though i'm not sure why. i think school has worn out it's welcome. college, please come quicker!
last night was fun, after work justin came over and we watched office space. omg, hilarious movie!!! i loved it! thanks kara for letting justin borrow it! yeah too bad justin was asleep during half of it though.
oh yes, sad sad news about taylor louke, the boy that committed suicide (via shotgun) on the oxford field. i looked up his photo in the yearbook and i don't recognize him at all. hrmm.
