I have just expirienced soggy sheets. What are soggy sheets? Soggy sheets is what happens when you leave the window fan next to your bed on all day long blowing humid, clamy air onto your uncovered, unmade bed. This expireince was not a pleasant one. It felt like jumping into the warm, stagnant water of a swamp. I half expected Swamp Thing to jump out from under me and complain about how uncomforatble it is to be sat upon, especially in your new home. I love humid whether. No, I don't actually, that was sarcasm.
All of this hot humidness made me think of something, though. Isn't the act of sweating from your armpits somewhat inneffective? I mean, sweating happens in order to keep your body cool when it gets really hot by letting the water from your body evaporate off of your skin. What baffles me, is that the armpit doesn't get much air ventalation (unless you make it a habit to run around with your arms in the air a lot), and yet it is the sweatiest part of our bodies. How then, is the sweat supposed to evaporate if air cannot even get at it in the first place?
I welcome you theories.
