Swepted Away by the Mists (or I wish at least)

On my way to work this morning I headed down 85 to glorious ol' Auburn. The temp is 46 degrees F, the sun is shining, there's not a cloud in the sky over all nice morning. While speeding like I usually do, Heidi (my car) still performing well, I see a fog bank pop up out of nowhere. Just a wall of fog appears on me fast. And if that wasn't strange enough the fog was red! So what does my bizzar mind do, goes right into thought mode.

"Red fog??!!! where is this going to take me to? Am I going to enter in from Alabama just to end up on the other side of the world, or in some distant time, in some distant reaches of the galaxy, or in another galaxy? How about parallel dimensions? Maybe I'll be taken to the plane of existance where the gods of old chill out."

Yeah, my mind goes on like this until I exit the fog bank and there is the familiar boring bit of highway that I transverse everyday to work. so much for the mystical nature of red fog.
