1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Drove. Failed myself. Had my first real kiss. haha. That's a good memory.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I have the same new year's resolution every year. I kind of kept it. I always make more resolutions and don't keep them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not really close, but my mom's cousin.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No, thank God.

5. What countries/states did you visit?
Upstate NY, PA, CN, NJ, FL, the Bahamas

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
No personal failures

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There was one day I had a complete catharsis and it felt amazing. Then there was another time I spent with Danny, when I was still allowed out. Then there were those few times at Maria's house that I remember vaguely.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I don't think I had any big achievements.

9. What was your biggest failure?
The PSATs. I got a horrible score and I'm still getting shit for it.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
No. Except for now. I have a little cold that I think I got from Danny or my Dad.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I bought A Clockwork Orange and that is pretty kickass. And "Moulin Rouge" which is my favorite movie, so that's another one.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Maria and Caitlin and Rach because they're always doing nice things, but no one celebrates them.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Me. My parents. Some of friends who will go unnamed.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Gifts.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Umm...not much.

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
"Konstantine" by Something Corporate because it was that kind of year.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
It's hard to say. The highs are higher and the lows are more frequent.

Reading

Wasting time

20. How will you be spending Christmas or how did you spend Christmas?
Sick. Not happy. In my room.

21. How will you be spending New Years?
Still sick. Still not happy. Still in my room.

Maybe. I'd never admit to this kind of question.

Sorry, not a slut.

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Gilmore Girls.

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No. Same people. haha.

26. What was the best book you read?
Oh man. A Tale of Two Cities, Catcher in the Rye, A Clockwork Orange, The 5 People You Meet in Heaven, A Separate Peace, The Phantom of the Opera, "Inherit the Wind", Eats, Shoots and Leaves

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Belle & Sebastian, The Format, Cursive, Elliott Smith, The Weakerthans. I think BNO, Bright Eyes and ETID were last year.

28. What did you want and got?
a boy.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
There was one movie I was waiting for, but then I never saw it. And now I have to rent it because it's a cult classic.

16. Was supposed to go out. Not allowed.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Better grades / test scores.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
Umm...me. I don't know. I never sat down and picked out a fashion concept.

34. What kept you sane?
Danny. Kat, Rach, Caitlin, Caitlin, Maria. Music. My ntbk. My psychopathic ways. Oh wait, that's an oxymoron.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Fancy. Haha.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Hmm...one? The gay rights issue and stem cell research.

37. Who did you miss?
Everyone.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
New person...hmm. Who did I meet? The people from quiz bowl are funny.
