Serv-A-Thon Boston- October 22
Join us in Boston, on October 22, for Serv-a-Thon! Thousands of people will spend the day working in neighborhoods throughout the city; it's a massive community service project that will literally transform Boston.
I've been a couple times and, I loved it! The event kicks off in the Boston Commons with a powerful rally. After everybody gets pumped up to serve, teams are deployed to projects all over the city. You'll serve alongside some really interesting people (usually including members of the particular neighborhood you're working in). The day closes with a celebration at the commons.
This year's Serv-A-Thon means a lot to us because our good friend, Amber Moffett, is serving in the City Year Boston corps this year. So, we have lovingly named our team The Amber Moffett Fan Club. If you, too, love Amber- join our team!

*There is a $25.00 registration fee. But, you can fund-raise that by asking friends and family to support your effort. Plus, while proceeds from Serv-A-Thon usually go to support City Year's work in Boston- this year, half of all money raised will go to benefit City Year's Hurricane Katrina relief efforts!!*
