01. He's younger than me.
02. He's smarter than me.
03. He's taller than me.
04. He forgives automatically, without question.
05. He is the least judgmental person I know- everybody is his friend.
06. All of his parental figures suck and, yet, he is an amazing dad.
07. He would sacrifice anything to make me happy.
08. He'd rather watch c-span for three hours than a sports game.
09. Sometimes, he comes home from work and makes me dinner.

11. He loves my sisters and friends as though they were always his.
12. He hates cats but he affectionately purrs alongside ours.
13. He loves dogs although they make him terribly sick.
14. He walks with Henry on his shoulders and asks me, repeatedly:
Is he smiling? Is he laughing? Is he happy?
15. He can make Ramen Noodles taste like a delicacy.
16. He never gets mad when I call him and pester him at work.
17. He'll recount entire dreams to me when he wakes up.
18. He takes being a big brother seriously.
19. He'll carry a stroller up a mountain so that we can take the hard trail.
20. At any moment he'll run to the store to satisfy my coke addiction.
21. When Henry wakes up too early, Brad can magically cuddle him back to sleep.
22. He refused to get a cell phone for so long; but, now that he has one, he thinks he's just too damn cool.
23. He is the first person and only person I have ever made love to.
24. And, it's too incredible for words.
25. He cries when he feels the need to.
26. He actually looks pretty dang sexy when he plays Xbox.
27. He'll hold me tight in the mosh pit so I don't get hurt.
28. He'll read anything.
29. He knows how crazy I am and still thinks I'm perfect.
30. When he hears a song on the radio that he thinks I would like, he'll call me and have me listen to it with him. Even if its dumb and emo.
31. His idea of a movie night is another Chompsky documentary.
32. He thinks everybody is beautiful.
33. He never, ever complains. About anything.
34. He loves to spend hours reading his favorite liberal websites.
35. He can build a kickass computer from scratch.
36. When Henry was first born, the nurse taught him how to change a newborn's diaper. Ever since then, he's considered himself our resident diaper expert. Fine with me! ;)
37. He's crazy for starburst jelly beans and thinks it discrimination to only eat them during the Easter season.
38. Even though I'm no longer pregnant, he still assumes the responsibility of emptying the litter box.
39. He loves my cooking and thinks anything I make is gourmet.
40. He doesn't mind getting up with Henry in the morning because he likes getting some alone time with his son.
41. He thinks that I can do anything and supports all my crazy, visionary ideas.
42. When we go to the park, he has more fun than the boys do.
43. At night, even when he's really tired, he'll wait for me to come to bed before he falls asleep.
44. We can talk about anything together.
45. He still has most of his childhood possessions and treats every toy like it's gold.
46. He needs music in order to function.
47. When he sets his mind to do something, he does it.
48. He respects all opinions, no matter how absurd. Yet, he's resolute in his own ideas. He knows what he knows.
49. You can look into his big, blue eyes and see all the way down to his soul.
50. He is the kindest, most gentle person I know.
